Mine Shift - Mine Tracking Software
Mine Shift can collect and analyze your mine statistics. Once it is collected, we can set up a transfer to your payroll and your accounting systems.
Where is my ore coming from?
Ore is tracked by mine workplace, employee, and equipment used.
Each and every shift, the source is recorded and the destination is recorded.
Do you want to know how many tonnes of waste have been backfilled into a mine location?
Waste is also tracked and you can specify whether the waste is backfilled to another mine workplace, or hauled to the surface.

How may buckets, how many truckloads, how many skip loads?
Depending on the equipment, ore and waste are recorded in scoops, loads, or skip loads.
You can compare day-to-day, week-to-week, month-to-month, or year-to-year. Are you seeing efficiencies, or is the drive to the ore getting longer and longer?

Are you attaining your metres per shift target?
Blasting, drilling and reaming are tracked in metres. Did you meet your targets today? Have you met your targets this month?
Longhole drills, longhole reams and cleaning are tracked separately.
If you want to track materials, you can track caps, stick powder, bags of anfo and boosters.

What equipment is being used?
Each major piece of equipment is tracked. How many hours has it been used? How often has it been transferred to the shop?
What's really important is, what equipment is not being used? Is it just sitting there, waiting to be moved to the shop? Is it just incurring leasing costs?
|
How many hours are being worked on a specific mine workplace?
Transferring hours to your payroll system accurately and efficiently is critical.
Each mine shift report goes through an approval process that you can define.
There are four levels of approval that you can use--Supervisor, Superintendent, Manager, and Payroll. If any one of these levels finds an issue, the time sheet is
kicked back to the supervisor for correction. You can define the rules by department. Do you need three levels of approval (supervisor, superintendent, manager)
or just two levels (supervisor, manager). Is there a department where you need 2 out of 3 approvals? Payroll always has the final approval.
Mine Shift also calculates overtime. The calculation methods handle some of the most complex overtime calculations in the industry. If you have a union,
government, or corporate rule that is not handled, we can modify the system. No rule is too complex.

How fast are we drawing down on our supplies?
Some of the mines that use our software are only accessible by air or ice road. For them, tracking supplies is critical.
The software currently tracks rockbolts, rebar, split sets, screens, j bolts, eye bolts, straps, screen straps, cable bolts and CRF Bags.
If you need to track more than this, bring us the list and we'll add whatever you need.
|
Can we track incentive targets?
Yes, currently we track ore development, waste development, ramp development and raise development.
There are currently the following incentive reports: Muck Loads Report, Ground Support Report and Working Hours Report.
If these do not fulfill your requirements, we can easily add other reports. There is also an ad-hoc report that you can use
to export data to Excel.

Can I get a demo?
If you would like a Zoom presentation, or if you would like to try the software for yourself, we can set up a demo system for you.
